About Semone Howell, CNM
Born and raised in the beautiful British Virgin Islands (BVI), inspired by the care rendered by British midwives within her community, Semone found her calling. Semone’s journey in becoming a midwife started in 2013 when she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Missouri Southern State University. Her decade of clinical experience spans emergency nursing and high and low-risk obstetrics, working in diverse clinical settings. In 2022, she accomplished her lifelong dream of becoming a midwife and a proud graduate of Frontier Nursing University. Semone is passionate about providing full-scope midwifery care that contributes to the growth of healthy families, communities, and, most importantly, women’s empowerment. She intends to deliver patient-centered and trauma-informed care, advocating for informed choice and shared decision-making. In her spare time, she enjoys attending church, reading novels and autobiographies, diving into a great television drama, traveling back to see her family in the BVI when time permits, and having spontaneous adventures. Semone is excited to be a part of our West Valley Women’s Care team. She hopes her contributions can continue to build this healthcare legacy.
