About Candice Wood, MD, FACOG, PMH-C
Candice Wood is a Board-Certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist who has been practicing in Arizona for the last 18 years. She always knew she wanted to be a doctor and fell in love with obstetrics in medical school just like her father. She completed a BS in Chemistry at the University of Utah which she loved prior to heading off to medical school. After graduation from the University of Colorado School of Medicine, Candice completed her four-year residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center. Upon graduation she accepted a faculty position in the residency program and has worked there for the last 14 years educating residents and providing care for women in her own practice. Candice is married to her best friend and mother to their five children and a stepson she wishes she could call her own. She loves to run and do reformer Pilates. If she isn’t with her kids or exercising, she is likely cooking or baking.
