About Woman Made Well
Woman Made Well, the office of Dr. Candice Wood, provides care for all aspects of women’s health. We also care for patients coping with mental health issues during or after pregnancy. Candice Wood, MD, is a board-certified OBGYN, and obtained a certification in perinatal mood disorders, psychotherapy, and pharmacotherapy. She started the Woman Made Well clinic with one mission – to achieve wellness through the proactive pursuit of both physical AND mental health. She is passionate about empowering women with the care and tools they need to live their best lives.
Wellness For Women
Your annual well-woman visit is your opportunity to check on your general health and connect with your provider to discuss current concerns or questions. Women’s wellness exams include preventative cancer screening, nutrition therapy, bone and breast health, genetic testing, pap smears, menstruation, contraception, vaginitis, and beyond.
Mental Health for Mothers-To-Be
As women, life can feel like a never-ending battle to feel whole, complete, and well. Whether you’re facing infertility, pregnancy loss, postpartum mood instability, or just struggling to juggle it all, your mental health is everything. Though it may feel nearly impossible to attain normality, our mental health counseling gives you the opportunity to have one-on-one discussions with one of the valley’s most experienced women’s health experts.
